Note Quest - Privacy Policy

Summary

Note Quest is a music-note reading game. Your learning progress stays on your device. We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name or email, and we never sell your data. The only information that leaves your device is anonymous, aggregated usage data used to improve the app.

Data We Store

Learning progress - your per-note mastery levels, daily practice streak, and game settings. Stored locally on your device so the game remembers where you left off.
Anonymous usage analytics - events such as starting a practice round or reaching a belt milestone, collected via Firebase Analytics. This data is aggregated and not tied to your identity.

Where Your Data Lives

All learning progress is saved in your device's local storage (SharedPreferences). It is not transmitted to us and is not backed up to any server we control. Anonymous analytics events are sent to Google's Firebase Analytics service.

Data We Do Not Collect

No name, email address, phone number, or account login.
No contacts, photos, location, or microphone access.
No advertising identifiers used for profiling.
We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.

Data Deletion

Because your progress is stored only on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling Note Quest. No further action is needed on our side.

Third-Party Services

Firebase Analytics (Google) - anonymous, aggregated usage analytics. See Google's Firebase Privacy & Security.
Google Play Services - used for app distribution and standard platform functionality. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Note Quest is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. No personal data is required to play.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
